Qualifying Tournament 2009 Registration Procedure IMPORTANT:
All registrations are done through
this website -
Teams will advance from the 20
qualification tournaments to the 4 Regional Tournaments. Regional
Tournaments are not tied to qualifiers.
48 teams will earn a spot to compete
at the Florida State FLL Championship after competing at one of 4
regional tournaments.
From October 1 - October 15, Florida
teams can register for one and only one
of the Florida Qualifying Tournaments.
Only teams from Florida can register
for Florida Qualifying Tournaments unless prior arrangements are made
Starting on October 16th,
teams may register for additional events where space
permits.
Registration for all Florida
Qualifying Tournaments will be closed when all spaces are filled.
Teams must attend the
tournaments they sign up for. Remember these tournaments are hosted by
fellow FLL teams. Teams dropping out without more than 2 weeks notice
will forfeit all other tournaments for the remainder of the season.
if you attend a tournament and
qualify for a regional tournament and either drop out of or don’t show
to another qualifying event you are registered for, you will forfeit
your entry to the regional tournament. This would be a serious lack of
GP.
Teams that advance to the regional
tournaments will be notified by email about the registration process.
Q1) Is this all the
tournaments?A1) No, there are
more being planned, but not yet confirmed. Email will be sent when and
if additional Tournaments are added.
Q2) Are we allowed to
attend more than one event?A2) Yes, but you may
only sign up for one during the first 2 weeks. After that you can sign
up to as many as you would like to go to.
Q3) If we sign up for
a Tampa area location and then a closer one becomes available later,
are we able to switch? A3) This is a tough
one. Yes you may switch, but you must inform the tournament director
of the tournament you are dropping out of NOT LESS THAN 2 weeks
before the event.
