Florida FIRST LEGO League Grant Opportunities

Grants will be posted here as we become aware of them including their due date for submission, any specific requirements imposed by the donor and our anticipated award announcement date.  For those grants administered by Florida Robotics Education, you will not receive cash.  We will order the registration, robot kit and/or Field Setup for you.

Your Commitment:  When you accept a grant for an NXT Robotics Kit administered by us, you must commit to take your team to competition this season (typically between early November and mid-January).  Failure to do this will require return of the Robotics Kit to Florida Robotics Education.

Florida FLL Grants

Application Process: Write a short description of your team situation in the form at the bottom of this page and why you couldn't have a team if you didn't get a grant.  Include special circumstances on why you need this grant.   You only have to submit ONE application for all of the grants listed in this section.  If you have more than one team, please indicate this in the reason for grant and indicate any special requirements under Comments.  You will be considered for all grants for which you qualify, including any new grants we get later in the summer.  Problems with online application, contact Judy at grants@flrobotics.org

FIRST Hardship Grant -- Based on need.  Two out of three items may be requested:  Team Registration, NXT Robotics Kit and/or FLL Field Setup Kit.  Any team or potential team in the state of Florida will be considered.  A very limited number (2 - 3) of these grants are available.  DUE DATE:  July 28, 2010  (Final Selection is made by FIRST and will probably not be available until mid August.)
